There are 6 teachers (4.2 fte) in this service, led by Lynne McNulty. Lynne and her team are experienced in working with pupils with language and communication difficulties and can offer advice and training in these areas. All nursery and primary schools receive an allocation of time from the service and advice and training can be delivered as part of this allocation. One team member is currently working in six secondary schools supporting students with statements for speech language and communication difficulties. The team works closely with the Co-ordinator of the ASD service and with Speech and Language Therapists from the mainstream service and the clinics.
