Leading from the Middle

NCSL has developed a programme specifically for middle level leaders - Leading from the Middle (LfM). Further information about this programme can be found on the NSCL website: www.ncsl.org.uk.

In Sutton local LfM groups have now been established for both primary and secondary phases. The existence of a local group enables teachers to add to the benefits of the national course by joining a network of other teachers from Sutton schools. Primary Phase Co-ordinator Network Meetings

AIS has put together a programme of Primary Phase Co-ordinator Network Meetings, with each meeting being led by a member of AIS or one of the LA recognised consultants. The role of the Network Meeting Leader will be to provide up to date information on the latest developments in the subject area and then to promote discussion among those staff attending from schools.

Each Co-ordinator Network Meeting has been individually costed and the amount shown on the sheet is the fee per person. However, should you wish to send an additional member of staff to one of the meetings (for example if there is to be a change of co-ordinator and you would like both the current and the new co-ordinator to attend), this extra person would not incur a fee.
